Disney Parks Talent Casting
Disney Parks Talent Casting is the company within Walt Disney Parks & Resorts who holds auditions all over the world for available entertainment positions.
There are many ways to share your gifts and talent whether it be at one of the various Disney Theme Parks located throughout the globe, on board a Disney Cruise Ship, on Broadway in a Disney theatrical production or at one of the Disney Resorts.
What To Expect
A cast member will greet you when you arrive to the audition and help you with getting checked in by recording your name and the time you arrived.
They can also answer any basic questions you might have. Be sure to give the cast member your head shot and resume as these are required to audition.
You will be given an audition application to complete so they highly recommend you arrive 15 to 30 minutes early.
Entertainment Positions
Singer's - Be sure to bring two prepared vocal selections with contracting styles. Choose the best of sixteen bars of each of your two selections.
The casting agency are searching for those who just don't sing great but also have the ability to tell a story and convey this in their singing.
Make sure your sheet music is in the correct key. You will be provided with an accompanist. They don't allow any pre-recorded material such as tapes, CD's, etc.
Actor's - Bring a one minute comedic monologue with you to the audition. Be certain to practice your timing.
Remember to not just re-sight the words but add emotion to the part as well.
Musician's - In order to show your lyrical, technical and improvisational skills, bring three prepared sheet selections that show this.
You will be required to do sight reading and some may be asked to perform an easy marching maneuver. Remember to bring emotion and energy with the instrument you play.
Be sure to read the audition listing very carefully so you know what is expected from you.
Unless it's specified in the audition listing be sure to bring your instrument.
Dancers - Be sure to read the audition listing very carefully so you know what is expected from you.
You will not only be looked at for how well you dance but the energy and emotion you bring with it. Wear clothing that is form fitting so you have full range of motion.
Bring jazz or ballet shoes, character heels, etc.
Arrive early if you will need to do any stretching.
Character Performers & Look-a-Likes - Most of the available roles will ask you to portray a Disney character with no words spoken. Communication is done through gestures and movement.
Look-a-like positions require that you be 16 years or older and be authorized to work in the United States.
Stunt Performers - You must have a background in gymnastics when auditioning for a gymnast, acrobat, tumbling or other stunt position.
It's a big plus if you also have aerial experience. You will be required to show your proficiency on the high beam, rings, ropes and trampoline.
With some of the stunt positions you will be expected to do some climbing, swinging, work with fire, water or height.

Real Audition Example
Audition date and time - October 25, 2011 at 10a.m. ( Eastern Time - US & Canada)
Searching for male & female performers for Disney's, "Festival of the Lion King". This is a celebration of the African-inspired music from the animated film.
The musical production is live and takes place at Disney's Animal Kingdom 1,500 seat theater in the Disney World Resort ( Orlando, Florida ). This is a high energy and large scale production featuring dancers, singers, tumblers and other various specialty performers. Also in search of full-time vocalists.
The following roles needed -
Kiume - A leader who has a powerful and strong presence. Male resonant baritone-bass.
Zawadi - A gift and Mother Earth to everyone who knows her. Female gospel mezzo-soprano with a high belt.
Nakawa - A confident and good looking prince. Male pop-R&B second tenor.
Kibibi - An impatient and sweet princess. Female pop-second soprano with a high belt to E.
Audition Information -

The sign-in time is between 9:30 AM to 10 AM. Remember to be on-time and not even a minute or two late. They can't stress this enough.
Registration is in the lobby outside and the audition will be held in Stage number 3. Just follow the Disney audition signs.
Requirements -
You will need a resume and head shot that is current. You will be provided with an accompanist. Be sure to bring 16 bars of one musical selection in the proper key. Callbacks take place in Atlanta on October 26th.

This looks like great info.! It's hard to go there, especially at Halloween when there are lots of extra actors, and not imagine wanting to do this. It looks like so much fun.
